With the holidays approaching, you’ve got a lot going on. You’re likely not thinking about your dental insurance benefits. You may want to, though, to ensure you get all of the benefits that are coming to you.

Check out this video from the American Dental Association, which covers some common insurance terms. One that should interest you is “annual maximum.” That’s the maximum amount of money in a single year that your insurance provider will provide for your dental care. It’s often in the range of $1,000 to $2,000. That money doesn’t carry over from one year to the next. If you don’t use it, you lose it.

If you have dental insurance benefits remaining in 2019, now is the time to call us at 334-600-1423 to schedule exams or other services. We can also work with you to schedule non-emergency dental services so you will get the full amount of your benefits without exceeding them. If you need two crowns, for example, you can get the first one in late 2019 and the second one in early 2020.
